When you were born, the Azaan was called in your ear but with no prayer. When you die, they will perform a prayer (salatul Janazah) but with no Azaan. As if the Azaan of your birth belongs to the prayer of your death. That’s how short your life in this dunya is. So we need to take strong steps to prepare for the Hereafter, and should act quickly to accumulate good deeds to earn the pleasure of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala). We need to teach our children from as tender an age as possible. They are the future flag bearers of Islam. If we don't let them be taught first by Quran and Sunnah then Shaytaan will teach them first. A sad event indeed. |
